Windo$e 95 is fairly braindead with the above message. In most cases what
is happening is that there has simply been no response from the ISP's end.
Win95 has no idea that there was "no response", and infers that it must
be speaking the wrong protocol. This message has caused so many end users
grief (by re-installing networking and 'dicken with settings) that you would
think Micros$ft would at least "add" the message that "the remote system MAY
not be responding".
