We had to contact Diamond Tech Support to get the correct init string to
disable the v.90 and use k56flex by default. After that it worked fine...
for the most part. I still had the occasional 2nd line connect failure
that made the second line unusable until I rebooted. My normal connects
were 42k + 44k for a total of 86k. My transfers of compressed files got up
to around 7-7.5k. Its not ISDN by a long shot but it works ok for the
occasional big file transfer from home.

Below is a copy of the email I recieved from Diamond:
