My understanding was if you had a rockwell K56flex modem and did the upgrade to
V.90 that it would no longer do K56flex as they didnt put enough memory onboard to
support both. Although the newer rockwell models with V.90 supposedly will do either.
Interestingly enough a Zoom model 2819 with this string at+a8e=,,,0&w
suggested by LE for V.90 only modems to disable the v.8bis when dialing in seems to
report a client end connect speed of 41,333 and the Pm3 says this
M2 S45 ACTIVE 40000 V42BIS LAPM

Now tell me how this is at all possible if in fact the string disables v.8bis entirely as
the release notes so indicate???
