The R wan port is supposed to be able to handle 80 serial connections of
average traffic, maybe average traffic has gone up. Sounds like you are
suffering from the wan port problem then...

Why would you purchase a Cisco 2501 when you are a Livingston user and
Livingston makes the OR-HS for way under $1000 which can handle a full t1,
and also the IRX-111 which is a larger Cisco-like model?

If you like Livingston, stick with Livingston, get the Livingston router.
