When they do that here, the DSL is line side terminated at the CO, but
I still saw a high percentage of 28.8 connects, tho *never* higher.
I had 24 of those "DSL" splitters here at one time - I'm now the
"equipment store" for the telco since I've gone to CT1s. The telco
techs tell me they now have boxes that will multiplex 4 lines on
one pair.
