Hrm, I made a backup of a pm 2 and restored to another pm 2 and it saved
the passwords. What com os? What version of pmconsole or amber?

Depends on your ram. Local users are MUCH faster and more reliable than
radius. For our dedicated customers, I set em up in the local table.
Radius is good for these reasons: 1 database to administer for multiple
pm's, some extended features depending on the radius you are using,
capability of backup.
