b15 has the following problems and "odd things" that we noted:

1. Many V.34 modems (ie: non KFlex, non-V90) will connect but either
drop carrier almost immediately or will stay up but return EXTREMELY
low throughput rates (ie: 100 cps, or ~ teletype speeds). Some V.34
modems cannot connect at all (they fail during negotiation/training)

2. K56Flex performance is improved.

3. V.90 is not stable. It *works*, but results in a good number of
dropped calls.

4. As has been previously reported, SLIP is completely non-functional.

Problem (1) is the killer here, as it affects virtually *ALL* RCi288 based
modems (Rockwell 28.8s) and about half the firmware revisions of the USR
Sportsters with 28.8 or 33.6 firmware (ie: non-V.90 upgraded ones).
