Ouch! Never had that experience. Guess these days, its cheaper to buy a
new MP/8 or MP/16 than worry about any support contracts from USR...

Understood.

USR really has grown better within the last couple years... Plus, pricing
on analog-only units have dropped down so far now, that I guess if I fried
an MP/8, it wouldn't be the end of the world, whereas 3-4 years ago, these
units cost about 1000% more than they do, now...

(For instance, the typical MP/16 can be had for $1100, the typical MP/8
can be had for about $600)
