have a PM log to a syslog demon on another box. Can this be done with
Linux and if so can someone tell me how?

First, make sure the syslogd on the linux system is started with the -d
option so it accepts syslog messages from outside hosts.

Then make sure you have the loghost set on the pm 25 to the ip address of
the linux box and you are finished. (may take reboot to start logging).

set log 123.123.123.123
