Subject: (PM) user specific web page

This is maybe off topic, apologies...

I am running PM-3's/Radius on solaris. I want a CGI to be able to identify
a user by username.
Grabbing the IP address of the user loading the page is no problem, but I
don't know of a good
fast efficient way to map that to the username. The reason for all this is
that we offer
measured service, and I have a script where a user can put in their
username and find out
how much time they have used. I would like that to come up automatically
when they hit our
home page..

Any ideas?
