You set the gateway to be the location. That means ANY traffic without
a particular route in the routing table will bring up, and keep up, this
link. Say, for example, any ports on the PM-25 still with PortMaster as
a mode which are trying to talk to in.pmd.

This is ugly - wht aren't you using the username, password, and phone
number locatin settings and letting it use PAP? If you don't HAVE to
use scripting - don't.

Actually you're routing ANYTHING the system doesn't see locally, because
of the gateway setting.
