(PM) Filtering OSPF routes

Is it possible to filter out routes advertised by other PM3's in the same
area? We are reaching 50+ PM3's and PM2's in a single area and my concern
is memory usage per box once we add more. All boxes have 4MB of ram.
Also what's the suggested maximum amount of PM's that I can put in a
single area? Thanks for any info.
