Once upon a time Scott Lagos shaped the electrons to say...
>Can someone please point me to a technical definition and theory of MP+ and
>MPP. Specifically what are the differences?

They are the same thing. MP+, or MP Plus, is Ascends DBA protocol. An
earlier protocol than the eventual standard - BAP/BACP. MPP is sometimes
used to mean MP+, sometimes to refer to the combo of MP AND MP+ running
together.

MP is the proper way to write Multilink PPP - RFC 1990 (formerly RFC 1717).
See the RFCs for details.

BAP/BACP is RFC 2125.

MP+ is described in Informational RFC 1934
