Call me dense, but wouldn't just labeling the things when you put them
into the rack work and avoid later confusion? It's what we do, rather then
just toss stuff in a rack. Since you're past that point though, have you
tried issuing a flood ping to a specifc portmaster and then checking which
acitivity light on the unknown PMs look to be pegged. That might work as
well.
