Once upon a time Eric J. Merkel shaped the electrons to say...
>Someone was telling me it is possible to get 56K ISDN (or 112K bonded)
>BRI connections to our PM3's over channelized T1. Basically, I would like
>to offer 56K ISDN services without having to pay the PRI costs... :)

Yes it is. But you need to make sure you have trunkside CT1, and not
lineside. If you are doing K56flex you wil have trunkside.

>That being the case, how does one provision these BRI lines from the
>telco (Sprint) to work with this setup?

The BRIs need to support voice and data (CSV and CSD). Actually voice
alone is fine, but that config is rare. Then the user needs to configure
theyr ISDN router or TA to make the outbound call as a 56K DOSBS call.

NOTE - *NOT* a 56K DATA call.

>Also, we are looking for a good/low-cost ISDN router to deploy in
>small office solutions. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Lucent Office Router U or U-AP. I have one nailed up 24x7 doing 112K
DOSBS. Connecting from my LAN at home right now.
