(PM) when will 3.8 be ready?

Anyone know when 3.8 will be ready, as in non-beta? I really want to do
the upgrade, but I don't gamble with beta's anymore. :) I've heard lots of
good stuff about the beta, but the man upstairs says I have to wait before
I do the upgrades.
