The Portmaster and RADIUS share a 'secret' between them that you
have to set in both the 'clients' file in RADIUS and in the
Portmaster 'set secret xyz123'. This secret is used to encrypt
the password as it is sent from the PM to the machine running
RADIUS in order to project the password from snooping (and a few
other unsavory things). On a Unix machine you need to set the
password in the text file /etc/raddb/clients and should look
something like:
#Client Name Key
#-----------------------------
IPofPortmasterEther0 xyz123
