I have several trunkside D4 AMI wink start T1's. It depends on the telco.
I know they are trunkside because I had to fight to get them changed that way
when we got PM3's.

These are DMS-100. It seems to vary from telco to telco. GTE seems to
only do D4 AMI on voice circuits, but will do B8ZS ESF on data (for an
extra charge). Centel does B8ZS on everything by default (also from a
DMS-100).
