There was a recent discussion about why anyone would ever by a 1-T
PM3; well, right here's the answer. I almost bought 2 1-T PM3s
instead of 1 2-T PM3 for a remote POP for this very reason.

In the end I gave in to the demands of my checkbook ... not due to the
small difference in cost for the base units but because one box
partially populated with modems can serve both Ts during rampup.
(One T is from a virtual POP.)
