Hi,

I need to get more info, it could be that one of these (or all of these)
people had a caps lock key on, an elbow in the keyboard, a friend "work
on" the computer. The USR on a ORU was a routing problem on the customer's
end, and a BAD phone line. We loaned the customer a Microcom 28.8 and it
connected and stays connected just fine, much better than the USR ever
did.

The Cirrus Logic 33.6 is an old couple that will not bring the computer in
and are as dumb as a fence post as far as computers. It is not connecting
and they say, "Can you get inside our computer from there and fix it? We
can't be bothered bringing it in every time it breaks." I configured it,
and it ran just fine for two months, they had someone do something to
it and broke (Win31 Trumpet) networking. Now they can't be bothered
bringing it in.... They cancelled their account, grrr.

I can't blame Livingston'Lucent for this. The hardest thing is getting
all the info from these people. The customer is fastest to blame a problem
on the ISP's end (with 34 ports full of other customers on the PM3) than
to say that they probably broke it on their end, or have 18 phones and a
toaster plugged into the phone jack.
