(PM) V.90 connections where no Flex has gone before

After installing ComOS3.8b15 into one of our PortMasters (the one which is
a local call for me ;-)), I dialed in from home, using my USR X2/V.90
modem. Home is in 360-437, which has been a "Flex-free zone" [for various
modems on several phone lines].

I was surprised to get a 49333 connection first time (it was down to 42666
after passing a couple of megabytes). I've had a couple of V.34
connections, and about 4 V.90 ones. (Which means I've heard both the short
and long form of the dive signal.)

The other users who have called in so far are getting about the same
reported rates as before, and otherwise seem to be doing OK.
