Damn, I haven't seen that in years.
'hangup' is outdated. It is modem control. Later this became
'set s# modem on|off' But when the modem table was introduced the preferred
way was 'set s# cd on|off' - for carrier detect.
I didn't realize 'hangup' was still even in the code!
