(PM) Planning for 56K

I am planning to upgrade to 56k sometime this Summer, provided that the
planets align, the stars are in their proper position and the powers-that-be
are feeling generous. The State beaurocracy is *so* much fun...

Anyway, I'm looking for information on how network usage changed when 56k
was turned on. Did it increase noticeabley? Was seperately routed ports or
a switch required to handle the load?

Anything to give me some perspective would be great!
