Um, I believe that a static route has a low cost (0 or 1) and OSPF routes
have a cost of 160 (I think). You should be able to play with costing to
allow for static routes with a high cost value to take precedence only when
an OSPF route goes away, or vice versa. (At least this is how we do
"backup static routes" with our Cisco's).
