Dial up with win95 as usual.
Do a find ---> computer with the IP address of the win95/NT/Samba machine
you are trying to share a resource with. This machine could be
anywhere on the internet/intranet. This will chug away for several
seconds and come back with the Netbios name and the description of the
machine. This has to be done every time, though (I said it was a kludge).
Lmhosts can make this permanent. This will then let you share
resoursces, remember that some shares may have password if using
share level security of username & password if using user level
security (aka NT/SAMBA).
