You use the modem in the laptop. MOST closets Im in are also the PHONE
closet, so I have a cable with RJ-11 on 1 end and alligator clips on the
other. I use is very occasionally.

I use IE (cuz its smaller than Nutscrape) and Adobe, and Wordpad.

Where? Seriously. I dont see ANY need to take ANY manuals on-site when Im
installing a server. Now, there CAN be tech difficulties with my laptop so
I DO usually take them, only by virtue that Im installing NEW units and
they have the manuals IN the boxes, but I dont open them. Also I NEVER
leave manuals at the customer site. They ALWAYS get lost, removed, stolen,
thrown away, no matter WHAT I tell them or WHERE I hide them. Some might
disagree with me on this practice.
