Once upon a time Richard Stuplich shaped the electrons to say...
> What existing modems are compatible with V.90?

None.

> IS x2 and K56Flex modems going to work with V.90?

No.

V.90 is compatible only with V.90, it is NOT backwards compatible with]
either K56flex or X2.

Now, that doesn't mean a particular modem cannot have BOTH K56flex AND V.90
in it.

But it does mean that X2 only (ie, not V.90 upgraded) modems cannot dial
into a V.90 server to get a PCM connect.

So Rockwell/Lucent servers will still be K56flex and V.90, and 3Com will
still be X2 and V.90.
