I know NETBEUI is NOT exactly the same as NETBIOS because NETBEUI stands
for NETBIOS Extended User Interface. So a system that can do NETBEUI can
do NETBIOS, but not the otherway round. As far as Name servers are
converned, You call it NETBIOS name server because you cannot get a
NETBIOS Extended user interface server. It does not make any sense. You
only get NETBEUI as a direct interface to NETBIOS packets. If you are
running NETBIOS over IP like Microsoft NT and 95 do. You call it NETBIOS
over IP, not NETBEUI over IP. So not all Microsoft networking uses
NETBEUI. But all microsoft networking used NETBIOS, which is very dated.
Microsoft should and indeed they are changing this.
