(PM) V.8bis tone

Once new V.pcm code for the PM3 is released, will it still have that
V.8bis tone that screws up some modems?

Supposedly, the ITU standard doesn't include this tone, but will it have
to be kept for backwards compatability with K56Flex?

Currently, I use 3 USR Total Controls for x2 and all slower speed modems.

My one PM3 is for K56Flex only right now. When I expand my modem pool
again, I want to use all PM3s for any modem speed, but the problems I've
heard of with the V.8bis tone screwing up older modems is scaring me away
from the PM3. I could always direct those who have problems with the
V.8Bis tone to my USR pool but that just adds to my tech support load.
