Not absolutely. I've ranted about using VSAs for things *in the spec*
already. Or for things that make a lot of sense to add to the spec or
having multiple vendors all using VSAs to do the same damn thing.
But for things like termination causes - every product tends to have their
own specific cause codes. And trying to get all of the vendors to agree on
what their box will report is futile. This is truly "vendor specific"
information - so it makes sense.
