I upgraded to c3 today and some users are calling in with a problem saying
that the modem that is answering is making a strange noise. One fairly
knowledgeable customer call and said it was like a thumping or heart beat
sound. After I upgraded US West Called and said that 2 spans were down,
but I had no alarms. I unplugged the span and plugged it back in and it
cleared the alarm in the CO. Both spans were going to the same PM. I just
rebooted the box and I'm hoping it will cure it, but I was wondering if
anyone had seen this???
