(PM) telnet and SNMP failures

I'm sure this is something simple, and may be in the manual but here goes...

We get these errors in cron jobs that monitor our 3 PM2s, 2 PM3s and 1 TCH

pmwho: connection to host 'termserver1.dwave.net' failed

another time:

SNMPGET: Failed to reach target: "1:snmppub@octopus.dwave.net". I tried
multiple times!

We get both errors on all systems that are Livingston, but not the TCH.
Is there a way to set the number of telnet sessions/snmp sessions on a
Livingston PM?

Thanks
