I thought about doing this but decided that it wouldn't return information
that would be very valuable.

The thought that stopped me was this:

If a port has lots of turn over. 100 calls a day, you may get a good idea
of the real status of what is going on for it but if you get only 3 calls a
day, like we do sometimes because of some LONG calls then 1 lost carrier
would skew this statistic.

If you just look at number of connections per port per day you will see a
huge range of numbers. I couldn't think of any way to normalize the effect
this would cause. I know that it is a ratio, but this is why polls report
a sample size OR an error percent. The error percent is derived from the
sample size in most cases.
