Hi All,

I'm just looking at getting choicenet installed on our equipment. I have a
small (but VERY vocal) group of customers who want their web content limited
on our end, and are willing to pay for it. I was wondering if there is a
subscription service who provides lists of web sites containing either a
large list of "unobjectionable" sites, or a rather complete list of
"objectionable" sites.

I know these terms are completely vague, but if you run Micro$oft proxy
server, there are subscription services available, which provide you with
weekly updated lists of "objectionable" sites, and I would be interested in
something similar for my choicenet server. From talking to my customers,
they would rather us be liberal with what we restrict, and conservative on
what we allow, so it may be that a large list of inoffensive sites which we
could permit would be better than a list we would deny... the yahooligans
list is a great place to start, but I was hoping for something with more
sites, and a little more dynamic, and would be willing to subscribe for this
service.

I know this is a sensitive political issue, but I feel that doing this on a
voluntary basis, for customers who request it is the best way to keep the
government out of the picture... and I really don't have the time or
inclination to go surfing for porno myself...

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

David
