I thought maybe I would forward this out to this list and see who is right
on this matter. Are attachments created by formatted email a nuisance to
anyone other than me? Please let me know which of us is right. Should
rkm@marshall.net be allowed to cause us who use standard text email to be
forced to manually cancel every attachment created from his mail? Or should
he make arrangements to use unformatted mail so that the attachments are not
a problem. I will shut up if the consesus is that rkm has the right of way.
If not I will be asking him to please help us old text users out. Your
remarks either way are appreciated. I am sorry if this topic has been
discussed many times.
Sincerely,
John Scrivner

Most of the people who receive my mails are using a client that can handle
it. I can not turn the feature on and off for certain types of email. If you
don't want to upgrade your mail client or receive my email I suggest you
filter anything with an attachment. The attachments are a feature of Outlook
which I and many of my clients like and take advantage of whenever possible.
