(PM) Throughput of PM-25

I've searched the Dataman archives for this question, and haven't seen
it....

Do modems attached to the HD cable on a PM-25 have the same potential
throughput as modems attached to a PM2E? Reading the product literature
it seems that each individual port on a 2E has 115Kbps throughput
capability, while the eight modems attached to a HD port on the PM25 must
share the 115Kbps throughput. True or false?
