Once upon a time Warren Vanichuk shaped the electrons to say...
>Could somebody please explain what it means when the modem shows "Circuit
>Disconnect" for it's disconnection reason?
>
>---
>M0 S1 ACTIVE 44000 V42BIS LAPM 1 1 NORMAL
>M1 ADMIN UNKNWN NONE NONE 24 1 CIRCUIT DISCONNECT

The DS0 was disconnected from the other end - user/telco/etc.

>M1 doesn't seem to be accepting calls properly. Incoming calls will hang
>with no prompt, then get disconnected, or PAP negotiation takes along time
>before establishing a network connection (if it gets to that stage). I put
>M1 into an ADMIN state to have it bypassed for incoming calls, and the
>problem seems to have gone away. Is this Telco related? A bad modem? Am I

Try swapping modem cards. Does the problem follow the modem to its new
home, or does it stay in the slot?

>And speaking of only have 1 incoming PRI, will the PM3 reassign a channel to
>an unused modem, while I have M1 in admin state? :)

Modems are pooled. As long as there is an available modem it is usable
by any channel.
