Really? Oops... I think I'm sounding idiotic, but I always thought they
are the same.
I'm actually currently using one for evaluation...

Okay, let me put it this way, what I'm thinking of :-
I would like to be able to reference each digital modem with an address so
that I can easily identify which users have used that digital modem before
and if some funny problems occur, I can easily trace out if there is a
fault with the modem or something else.
Also, for easy identification, I would like to be able to know how many
modems are currently used via the IP addressess used, i.e. if I see users
coming in with IP 1.1.1.50, I would know that around 50 modems are used
already. I don't want to do a telnet to the pm3 and do a show sessions or
whatever...
Any idea how I can achieve these two things?
