Not necessarily. The you are having a problem because the static IPs can
show up on any of the 3 PMs and they are in the B network. RIP is poor at
making this setup work. There is an alternative layout.
If you change the statics to have A addresses that are within the address
space of the PMs ether0 IP address and netmask you won't have a problem.
What happens is that when the static IP network establishes, the PM sees
that it is within the ether0 network. The PM will proxy arp for the static
IP, meaning that when the IRX arps for the static IP the PM with that
connection will respond to the arp for the connection. At that point the
IRX knows where the connection is and sends the packets.
Note that it doesn't matter which PM the connection is on, or what
addresses the dialup assignment pool is using. The only thing that matters
is that the static IP address be something that can appear on the ehter0
network.
