No, xDSL is totally different from modem connections over CT1/PRI which the
PM3 does.

xDSL is just like you using small inexpensive equipment instead of a large
telco switch to generate T1, ISDN, and similar connections over dry copper
wires which you can sometimes lease from the telco.

Telcos usually (always?) use HDSL for T1 lines, notice the NIU boxes are
HDSL and they add repeaters along the wire then it goes into the telco
switch. Nothing new. Just not anything like modems.
