By agreement between Bill Gates, Sanford Wallace, and Ira Magaziner
representing Bill Clinton who has his hands full; the Internet will be
shutdown for one minute in recognition of the passing of a great milestone
in Internet history.

One who has contributed enormously in giving knowledge and time to many
Internet providers and Internet System Operators is stepping down to
climb other mountains. A great number of ISP's owe much to this giant
among men (and women).

All NOC personnel on duty on Friday Feburary 13, 1998 at midnight
GMT should momentarily halt all IP routing in recognition of this
individual.
