I just had a thought. If I get to it, I'll write it, but I have a major
OS upgrade this week-end (NetBSD 1.3 is out now, so it's time to upgrade
all of the servers).

Write a Perl script that uses SNMP to grab the port statuses on the
PM[23]. Use some kind of graphical interface (termcap? termios?) to
either put up character representations of the ports, or color to show
the port statuses (like the Tolal Control Front Panel).

It should be fairly easy to write, and CPAN has all the pieces....
