Of course, I only moved from 64 ip's to a class C - 256 so mine is easier.
The first thing that through me for a loop was I brought up the server
first then
the portmaster. Nobody could verify. I had to restart radius so somesorta
cache db file
has the right IP's in it. It wasn't pretty figuring that out. Or, what you
can do is reboot the portmaster then reboot the server. Order is everything.
The cache file isn't talked about in the Radius manual. At least that I
could find.
I was merely moving so my previous route is maintained till I tell them I'm
done
with it. A router table entry takes care of the Mac, Trumpet, and those who
had a IP number in TCP/IP settings (before I figured/found out it wasn't
needed) till I can make
sure they get the new IP number.
Nobody mentioned I get a t-shirt!
