we are running some PM2 and a bunch of PM3s. Now, since
a month or so, we are using a PM2 the first time for
modem dialin (the others before where only for ISDN and leased
lines). We are getting now this strange 'incompatible protocol'
message at this site for modem-dialin for many Win95 users.
Its _not_ that they are running a wrong configuration
or so. We checked it and in most cases the configs are ok.
They _CAN_ even connect successfully to our other sites
equipped with PM3 oder USR-TC. Only on the PM2 they getting
this weired error message. We are getting this message too
sometimes on our test equipment and after some reboots,
some fiddling around on the PM2, it works again
(we don't have changed anything then in the Win95 config).
We are getting more and more problems with user because auf
this inability for them to dialin. We have to change there
something fast ! What can we do ? We do appreciate any help.
thnx in advance,
-Juergen-Unger-
PS: the PM2 is running ComOs 3.7.2, does have 5 BRIs, 10 serial-IF
and 1 MByte RAM ... something more thats important ?
