I have found that RAS for NT WS 4.0 and NT Server 4.0 are different.
While NTWS has no problem with Authenticating with PM2e, NTS 4.0
requires that 'Enable PPP/LCP extensions' under the 'Server' tab be
disabled
before it will establish a connection. Some users tend to leave it on
because
of the 'Lookslike it should be there' assumption. Also, as previously
mentioned,
'Accept any authentication including clear text' should be checked under
the
'Security' tab.
I own an ISP in Jamaica(Caribbean) and use PM2e30's and Multitech Racks w/
MT-2834MR
analog triple modems.
