(PM) Dual Channel ISDN with a PM2E

Well, I am fairly sure that this is an Ascend problem but seeing as
how no one over there has been able to help, I was hoping that maybe
someone on this list had run into this problem and had a solution for it.

I have an Ascend Pipeline15 ISDN TA trying to connect with
Dual Channel ISDN using the MP (not MP+) protocol to a PM2e30.

I can connnect single channel without a problem, however if I try to
negotiat a dual channel ISDN connection, I get a string of garbage that
almost makes me think the protocol is not being recognized. If anyone
has any information on this or anything to try please let me know....

Oh, the system with the Ascend is running MS Win95 (non-osr2). I
haven't had a chance to try it with FreeBSD yet. and the PM2E30
is connected to a system running FreeBSD 2.2.1 (not sure if that makes
any difference at all).
