(PM) Practical Periphials ProClass 33.6 PCMCIA Problem

I have a new user that has a Practial Periphials ProClass 33.6 V.34 PCMCIA
modem that won't connect to my PM3 (56K cards & 3.7.2). We have tried the
3 commas after the number with no success. The PM3 answers and then no
handshaking occurs. Any hints and/or solutions?
