(PM) Outgoing Modem

I have a USR MP8 modem pool off a PM2E. The PM2E is hooked up to one
ethernet port of an IRX 211. This is used for internet access from the
outside. The other ethernet port of the IRX 211 is tied to our private
intranet.

Can I access the USR modem pool for an outgoing call from a work station
on our intranet. We are using Windows 95 on the WS's.

If so, how do I program the PM2E (or can you refer me to documents to do
so)?

What do you recommend for communications software to use with windows 95
that could access a "network" modem?

What protocol should I use ?

Thanks in advance for any help?
