With a 2e30, i really doubt it since the com ports are buffered 16550's
and the box isnt doing anything else. I doubt you are loosing anything
between the modem and the port. They would show up as overruns.

The PM 11 had probs when all 10 ports were run at 57600 because the
processor wasn't fast enough, but I dont think the Pm 2 has this problem.
