Once upon a time Dave Cornejo shaped the electrons to say...
>I am having trouble with an IRX-111 running 3.5f (old I know but it
>has worked fine up until now). I have a 56K frame relay connection
>from PacBell and am using a BAT SU-56K CSU.

I'd upgrade to 3.7.2R before you do anything else. 3.5R had a WAN port
driver bug if I recall correctly.

>switch to drop the connection. Now if I do a "show s1" I am seeing
>some truly incredible numbers - like 20K BYTES per second being

I forget it 3.5 is later enough, but current ComOS revs will show the
actual clock speed we're receiving under the active port stats.

>shipped out. At least when I installed my IRX a few years back, the
>only option was for external clocking, which I assume means that the
>data is clocked off of a signal that PacBell is providing. It still
>seems to be setup for external clocking.
